Setting up bank accounts for CSV ports
A CSV port with the import target Transactions or Account Statement can import files only for bank accounts that are set up for the port. The setup links the port to the bank account, so that Continia Banking shows the port when you import a CSV file for that bank account. CSV ports with the import target PSP don't need a bank account setup, because they're used by payment service agreements.
Before you set up a bank account for a CSV port, make sure that:
- The CSV port has a Code, a File Format, and an Import Target.
- The bank account is set up for Continia Banking, which means that it has a Bank Code.
To set up bank accounts for a CSV port:
Search for and select CSV Ports - Continia Banking.
Open the CSV port page of your choice.
On the action bar, click Setup Bank Account. You can also click the action on the CSV Port - Continia Banking page.
Note
The action is available only if the import target of the port is Transactions or Account Statement.
Review the Setup Status column for the bank accounts:
- Needs Setup indicates that the required bank communication setup doesn't exist.
- Completed indicates that the required setup has already been created and the bank account is ready for import.
If the Setup Status column indicates that the bank account Needs Setup, select one or more bank accounts, and then click Setup.
Tip
If you receive the error Bank account is not set up for import with CSV Port, click Set Up Bank Account in the error message to create the required setup, and then run the import again.
Note
If you want to remove the CSV port setup for the bank account, click Remove Setup.
