Troubleshooting source files
If you encounter issues during payment import, the root cause may lie in the source file, the Business Central import process, or Continia Online.
To help diagnose issues, use the Troubleshooting - Continia Banking page. This page provides access to logs, setup information, and troubleshooting features that help you diagnose and resolve issues.
The Troubleshooting page
To open the Troubleshooting page:
- Search (
) for and select Troubleshooting - Continia Banking.
On this page, you can:
- Review logs, including Tracing ID Log, Request Status Entries, Bank File Checklist, Bank Poll Log.
- View Request Headers
- See the Setup Files Version
- Manage troubleshooting settings, such as:
- Enable Request Header Log
- Enable Request Header Auto Preview
- Allow File Reimport
- Allow File Archive Troubleshooting
- Enable Clearing of Direct Information
- Enable Prepare Payment Response Log
- View installed banking apps in Installed Banking Apps, including version and HTTP client request support.
- View available bank systems in the Bank Systems section.
Bank accounts missing setup
In the FactBox pane, the Bank Accounts Missing Setup FactBox shows bank accounts that have a Bank Code on the Continia Banking FastTab but have no entry in Bank Acc. Com. Setup.
To complete the setup, select a bank account number to open the setup page.
To search file contents
You can search file contents directly from the File Archive List:
- Search (
) for and select File Archive List. - On the action bar, click Search in File Archive.
- Fill in the Search for Text, From Import Date, To Import Date, and Type fields.
The results show files whose content matches your criteria.
To convert and download a file
You can convert an account statement file from the File Archive List into an intermediate JSON file. This helps you inspect how the file is interpreted, verify field mappings, and identify data issues:
- Search (
) for and select Troubleshooting - Continia Banking. - Enable Allow File Archive Troubleshooting.
- Search (
) for and select File Archive List. - Select an account statement file, and then click Actions > Troubleshooting > Convert & Download File.
- Save and open the downloaded JSON file to review the converted data.
