Preparing Nordea for onboarding

Before you onboard a Nordea bank account in Continia Banking, you must prepare the Nordea Corporate Netbank Administration settings so that the files you need are available for download. This preparation involves verifying that a file template exists, linking the template to the relevant accounts, and assigning the files to the user that you apply in the Bank Account Setup wizard.

Without these steps, the user cannot collect files from Nordea, even if the onboarding in Business Central has been completed.

For general information on Corporate Netbank Administration, see https://www.nordea.com/en/our-services/cash-management/user-administration.

Note

The exact names and locations of pages in the Nordea corporate netbank portal may vary by country and user role. Confirm the names with your Nordea administrator if you cannot find the elements described here.

To prepare Nordea for onboarding

To set up the template, accounts, and user assignments in Nordea:

  1. Sign in to the Nordea Corporate Netbank Administration portal.
  2. Go to Corporate Access Account Reporting and check whether a template is available. The template determines which files are created by Nordea for download. If no template exists, create one.
  3. Click the template to open it and review the settings on the Basics tab such as file to order. For example, CAMT.053 Extended, CAMT.054D, and CAMT.054C.
  4. Click the Accounts tab and apply the template to the accounts you want to include in reporting.
  5. In the left panel, go to Corporate Access File Transfer and click the name of the user who collects the files. Do not use the Manage button.
  6. Click the Corporate Access Account Reporting tab, select each file you want the user to collect, and click Manage for each selected file.

After you complete these steps, the user can collect the configured files from Nordea, and onboarding in Continia Banking can continue.
