Troubleshooting source files

When troubleshooting Payment Import issues, it can be difficult to determine whether the problem originates from the source file, BC import, or Continia Online. To help with this process, you can convert an account statement file from the File Archive and download the intermediate JSON file. This makes it possible to inspect how the file is interpreted, verify field mappings, and identify data that may be causing errors.

To convert and download a file:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Page and enable Allow File Archive Troubleshooting.
  2. On the File Archive page, select an account statement file.
  3. On the action bar, select Actions > Convert & Download File.
  4. Save and open the downloaded JSON file to review the converted data.
