Managing Electronic Documents in Ireland
As a customer in Ireland, you can exchange electronic documents through the Peppol eDelivery Network. Additionally, you can receive electronic documents directly into Continia Document Capture via email attachments.
Ireland had developed a national procurement electronic invoicing framework to ensure that the entire public sector adhered to the 2014/55/EU directive regarding public procurement. However, in April 2023, this project came to an end, and the Office of Public Procurement decided to switch to Peppol eDelivery Network, an open-market solution.
The table below outlines the current regulatory states and future outlooks for B2G, B2B, and B2C (business-to-consumer) sectors.
