Importing Emission-related Lines from Document Lines
You can record information related to emissions when you register invoices and credit memos. Continia Sustainability helps you import this data from these documents into your environmental journals. On the Environmental Data Sources page, you can specify exactly what data to import. To make the process even smoother, users can access the Environmental Journals, and use the Import Data feature. With this feature, you can add new lines to selected journals, and the system will automatically allocate each line to the relevant environmental journal. Users can then verify and complete the required details before posting, ensuring accurate reporting in the Sustainability Report.
To import environmental data from document lines:
Use the icon, enter Environmental Journals, and select the related link.
On the action bar, select Home > Import Data.
You now have the option to import to all journals or just a specific journal. If you choose to import to all journals, the No. of Journal Lines column will display the number of lines that have been imported. Alternatively, you can select a specific journal (which is indicated in blue) and select Import to selected journal to import the lines for only that journal.
Alternatively, you open an environmental journal first and then select Home > Import Data. If emission-related data is available for the account, the lines will be visible on the environmental journal page.
On the environmental journal page, you can now verify the information and post the lines by navigating to the action bar and selecting Home > Post.
