Setting up reports for printing FIK/GIK payment slips
Printing reports with FIK / GIK payment slips requires that the reports from Continia is set up as standard reports. The setup allows you to post and print an invoice in the same function without having to choose which report to use.
Standard reports can be set up directly from Dynamics NAV or Business Central on-premises and therefore does not require a developer license.
General info - FI/GI Payment slip
Before you can send invoices with a payment slip, you must have a creditor number (FIK number).
When using FI / GI slips, it is important to comply with the rules for FI / GI slips, as otherwise a fee may be charged for using the slip. Therefore, your FI / GI slip must be approved before they are used.
The FI / GI slip consists of a main part and a receipt. The main part contains the payment receiver's information, payers information, as well as the information the bank otherwise needs in order to transfer the payment. The latter must be identical to the information on the OCR line at the bottom of the main body.
Create a bank and bank account for the FIK / GIK payments
In order to import FIK / GIK deposits into Continia Payment Management, you must have set up a bank and a bank account in Dynamics NAV or Business Central on-premises.
Since the import of files depends on which bank a bank account is linked to, you must therefore create both a bank card and a bank account card.
Create a bank account
In the same way as with a bank card, you need to create a bank account card for your bank.
The only fields that must be filled in on the bank account card are Bank Branch Code, Bank Account No., Bank Code, SWIFT Code and IBAN. The latter SWIFT Code and IBAN are only necessary if you use direct communication with the bank. Follow the instructions in the Create a bank account section, and then return here.
The bank account must then be set up as balancing account on the payment journal that you want to use for import FIK / GIK payments. The process of importing FIK / GIK payments is described in the section How to import FIK / GIK payments.
