Using the optional send confirmation dialog

You have the option of having a confirmation dialog displayed whenever documents are sent in Continia Document Output. When enabled, the dialog appears in relevant document pages when users click Document Output > Send/Print.

The dialog is enabled by default, but you can hide it using the Document Output Setup, as described below under To hide the dialog.

Overview of the dialog

The dialog consists of three parts:

  • Output Profile: Shows the output profile that's used for the document you're sending (or the text Multiple selection if you've selected multiple documents with different output profiles).
  • No. of Documents: Displays the number of documents that are about to be sent.
  • Sending Method: Allows you to choose between two sending methods:
    • Direct: Sends the document right away.
    • Send to Queue: Sends the document to the email job queue for later processing.

The first two parts are purely informative, whereas the third part lets you actively choose the sending method you prefer. Note that you can specify a default sending method by following the guide below under To hide the dialog.

To hide the dialog

If you prefer not to have this dialog displayed every time a document is sent, you can hide it in the Document Output Setup. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Search (Search) for and select Document Output Setup.
  2. On the General FastTab, click Hide Send Action Confirmation.
  3. Optional: In Default Sending Method, select the sending method that you prefer to have as the default.

    Bemærk

If you don't actively select any sending method in step 3, the default will be Direct.

The dialog will now be hidden whenever users click Document Output > Send/Print in a document page. The default sending method (which you may have specified in step 3 above) will then be used automatically, and the users won't have to make an active choice every time they send a document.
